- DOGLIO
Duration of visit : 10 min
The village of Doglio is quite small but flowery and full of charm. Don’t hesitate to push the church door, take a drink in Paola’s bar or on the beautiful Pio’s terrace (grocer’s shop in the middle of the street). The terrace is behind the shop. You will find at Pio’s grocery: some excellent ham, some Parmesan cheese Reggiano, mellons, fresh eggs,.. but be patient Pio, is 90 years old ;-) If you wish for some bread for your breakfast, you can orde it the day before by Pio o buy it at the EMI and freeze it.

• The Fattoria di Vibio (8 min) Very well-kept hotel with restaurant open to all. Beautiful garden and panoramic view. Good cooking. Favour lunch because it’s often harder to can enjoy the terrace in the evening.

Durée de la visite : 10 min
Le village de Doglio est tout petit mais fleuri et plein de charme. N’hésitez pas à pousser la porte de la charmante église, à prendre un verre au bar ou sur la belle terrasse ombragée de chez Pio (épicerie au milieu de la ruelle). La terrasse se trouve à l’arrière du magasin. Vous trouverez chez Pio, de l’excellent jambon cru, du parmesan Reggiano, des melons, des œufs frais du jour, du café,... mais, soyez patients... Pio a 90 ans ;-) Si vous désirez du pain pour vos petits déjeuner, vous pouvez le commander la veille chez Pio ou l’acheter à l’EMI et le congeler.

A Monte Castello di Vibio, le temps s’est arrêté... Magnifique petit village de jour comme de nuit avec un très bel éclairage. Ruelles très étroites. Bonne boucherie.
