• IL LAGO DI PIEDILUCO : beautiful little lake 3 km from the entrance on the top side of the falls. After visiting the waterfalls, it is nice to stop there for a drink by the water.
• MUSEO DELLE MUMMIE DI FERENTILLO (MUMMY MUSEUM)
Ferentillo is a village located near the town of Terni. There is a small unusual museum in the Church of San Stefano. In fact, during the enlargement of the church, mummified bodies, in perfect state of conservation, were exhumed. The natural mummification would be due to a fungus. These mummified bodies are displayed in the church crypt in open windows for air circulation. Be carefull, this museum could impress young children. Open from April to September from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 15:00 to 18:00 www.mummiediferentillo.it

Villa Lante at Bagnaia is a Mannerist garden of surprise near Viterbo. The gardens of the Villa Lante (Grandi Giardini Italiani) features cascades to fountains and dripping grottoes. Open from Tuesday to Sunday from 8:30 to 17:30. Ent. € 5,00
• TUSCANIA (13) Pleasant little Etruscan town with two imposing basilicas: San Pietro and Santa Maria Maggiore.

This city offer many important monuments including a Roman theatre, an imposing fortress (La Rocca), a pretty cathedral and several beautiful churches.
We advise you to use the escalators at the bottom of the city. They will allow you to arrive without fatigue at the top of the city, to enjoy the view of Assisi, Montefalco, Trevi and to go down slowly via the old streets.

Since 1958, the “Festival of the Two Worlds” has brought together great Italian and American talent for concerts of classical music, jazz, opera and dance in the open air in different parts of the city.

• IL LAGO DI PIEDILUCO : beau petit lac à 3 km de l’entrée côté haut des chutes. Après la visite des cascades, il est agréable de s’y arrêter pour prendre un verre au bord de l’eau.
• MUSEO DELLE MUMMIE DI FERENTILLO (MUSÉE DES MOMIES) Ferentillo est un village situé près de la ville de Terni. On y trouve un petit musée insolite dans l’Eglise de San Stefano. En effet, lors de l’agrandissement de l’église, des corps momifiés en parfait état de conservation, ont été exhumés. La momification naturelle serait due à un champignon. Ces corps momifiés sont exposés dans la crypte de l’église dans des vitrines ouvertes pour la circulation de l’air. Attention, ce musée pourrait impressionner de jeunes enfants.
